Textile sample book with indigo cotton swatches. Many samples are of shima 縞 (stripes). The book opens in an accordion fashion, and there are swatches on both sides of each page. Possibly from a weaver or collector of indigo fabrics. Silk cover with repeated mountain motif. Overall good condition.
